Peterborough United suffered successive league defeats for the first time since the opening two games of the season last night, as they were beaten 1-0 by Shrewsbury Town.
Ethan Ebanks-Landell scored the winner with the last kick of the first half, and a missed penalty from Marcus Maddison meant that Posh left the West Midlands exactly the same as they left the Fylde Coast on Saturday, pointless.
It was the end of a disappointing few days for Posh, who prior to these two games had been keeping tabs with Ipswich Town and Wycombe Wanderers at the top of the table.
Posh now find themselves five points behind both clubs, with Ipswich having two games in hand and Wycombe having one.
Luckily for Posh, they now have a break from the league due to cup commitments, something that Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony appeared pleased about on Twitter.
He is often quite a controversial character, but today he has delivered perhaps an accurate, and brutally honest truth about how his team performed last night.
Here is a look at what he tweeted:
Re game last; We were shite, game was shite, it was a shite night. Enough said. Onto the 2 cup games. Opens up opportunities for others now. Couple weeks to work our asses off on our lovely training ground to make sure we are back to our best in next batch of league games.👍

Peterborough United travel to Sky Bet League Two side Stevenage Town this weekend in the FA Cup first round, before making the trip to local rivals Cambridge United in the EFL Trophy, a competition Posh have already qualified for the next phase in.
Their next league game is not until November 23, when they host Burton Albion at the ABAX. They will be without star striker Ivan Toney, who picked up his fifth yellow card of the season on a miserable night in Shrewsbury for Posh.
